Living in Las Vegas, you never know who you'll see, and if you stopped by The Palms Casino Tuesday afternoon, that certainly was the case.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) kicked off its 65th year with a celebrity rollout - Vegas style. The theme this year was "You never know who you'll meet in December."

Las Vegas events put on the event, where Vegas icons, celebrities, and 2022 NFR champions came together for a promotional shoot months before the event inside the Pearl Theatre at The Palms Hotel & Casino.

Among the celebrities: The Blue Man Group, cast members from Cirque du Soleil's 'KA,' Penn and Teller, The Chippendales, former Vegas Golden Knight Deryk Engelland, and Terry Factor. Also in attendance was Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

It was a who's who of Vegas celebrities.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association holds the National Finals Rodeo every year. According to Las Vegas event organizers, the event had more than 10,000 people in attendance over ten days of competition in 2022.

NFR returns to Las Vegas this December 7 through the 16 at the Thomas and Mack Center.
